There’s a car parked on double yellows near a junction in Wallingford pretty regularly.
This morning I was passing when I saw the driver / owner swearing at a massive yellow bag of dogshit someone had left on his windscreen. -

someone
Yeah, 'someone'!

Wasn’t me. Honest.

Remarkable training to get the dog to bag up their own shit before they put it on the car.

Yep, its got a notice on the front that looks like a parking ticket. It's on a single yellow (red actually) that means its allowed to be there outside rush hour. It's clearly been there for a while though so surprised its not been removed by the council.
Rather than get angry, I assume the driver went out for a night out and somehow ended up unable to go and get their car. This means I end up hoping they are OK, and I'm not looking at the abandoned car of a dead person.

You’re both assuming it came out of a dog.

Even more remarkable to train a cat.

Wait, people can just park on CS8 during the day? Why do I not see more people doing that? I thought it was only allowed before 7am and after 7pm.

It's a red route that's no stopping 7am-7pm. The cycle lane has similar time restrictions (7am-7pm).
Signs are easy to see on Google Streeview.

Yes, that's my point - I have seen those signs, so based on that it's a bit surprising when it's suggested that actually, outside of rush hour parking is allowed there. Unless you define 7am-7pm as one big rush hour.

I was agreeing with you, mine should have been a reply to Scrabble.

Ah I see, sorry :)
Also, just generally re that car, I could have sworn it was not there one evening and then there again the next morning, but I might be wrong.

Rush hour/ 7 til 7 , same same in my head.
I find it odd parking is ok after 7. You can be hammering along at 5 past 7 sometimes, generally assuming the lane is all yours, when suddenly you're forced to merge with the busy traffic in the other lane cos someone has legally parked up.
Just seems mad to basically close a major cycle route at 7pm.
Still hope whoever's car it is is ok.

In better news, riding home through Putney I spied someone texting on their phone while driving plus they were kinda wandering all over the road as they went.
They shat themselves when I banged on the rear quarter of the car and dropped their phone into the footwell. Good fun.

Banging on a car where they're driving along staring at their phone is always entertaining for the sheer panic on their face in that moment when they think they've crashed into something.

This morning's damp conditions saw the rare but always appreciated spectacle of someone cycling through traffic one handed while holding an open umbrella. YOU LOVE TO SEE IT

Gave the twat who close passed me a sarcastic wave
they waved back
not sure whether happy or sad

Two cyclists on the floor (assume they collided) North side of Blackfriars bridge, just after the lights, they were being assisted by members of the public. Young lad looked pretty dazed (potentially concussed by the vacant look on his face). Was nice to see people helping and implementing some first aid (recovery position etc). Hope they're all ok.

Now now, had it been anybody on LFGSS it would have been unwrapped poo. There are standards here ;)

I can just imagine them thinking "oh look at the nice cyclist waving to me, this has put me in a good mood" :) :)

Report as abandoned. Happy Days.

We should set up a crowdfund for people to dogshit cars parked by cunts.

Is that a thing I can do? I did not know that.
Ask a friend or family member to help you apply it.
Will save you a fortune on loo roll
