Why the fuck do people run around in public and have phonecalls using speakerphone, holding the thing right in front of their face like an idiot, and talking really loudly because they think the other party can't hear them properly?
Why don't they just use their phone the 'normal' way? -
• #98905
That fucks me off no end.

I have a significant birthday coming up soon and my family are asking what I'd like for a present. I'd like something that's long lasting as something that I'll keep/use long term but I don't really know what.
Any suggestions?

i think its people who have bust their phone but are tied into a contract so can't replace it.
or they have headphones in and are just using the mic bit. -
• #98912
I though about the bust phone possibility but I don't know, must be an awful lot of bust phones.
If they have headphones in and using the mic bit one would not be hearing the other party on speakerphone.
I thought some girls might do it do avoid pressing the whole phone against their faces to maybe keep their delicate make-up intact, but matter of fact I see a lot of men doing this as well..

Just say "Yeah, it's some c*nt on speakerphone" loudly, within mic range.
Will try this, thanks.

I've had to do it once when I was somewhere noisy and the only way to get it louder is to put it on speakerphone.
As soon as I finished the call I cockpunched myself though.
-
• #98915
Just means the cunt you're talking to will hear all the noise too.

i'd say 50% of the people I know with iphones have partly broken iphones.

Is it possible to find out take off & landing times for specific flights/routes before the airline puts them on sale?

waterproof jeans for commuting, talk to me.

Almost certainly a waste of time.
If it's wet enough to need them, and you have to have casual clothes at the other end, you'll be better off using a good quality pair of gortex over trousers.
-
• #98921
my problem is there's no where to put wet clothes in the office. Also I find over trousers just get way too hot.
-
• #98922
I have the older version of these, never got hot in them, they have been great if you want to borrow and try?
You can always get these
-
• #98923
£150 for over trousers though

A rain cape is the actual answer here

Hi all.
I would like a spotting scope, 100-300 meter (or greater) range. Could a knowing head on here please tell me what I should be looking for?
Thanks!
