My salt grinder has bitten the dust, thread at the top has gone. Would like one which is buy and forget, and preferably as tall as the pepper grinder I’ve got, so 30cm rather than 20cm.
Any recommendations. -

I bought a couple of mills with a Crushgrind mechanism for myself and a friend almost ten years ago and both still work perfectly. Plenty of choice of designs there.
The Torino one looks nice imo

I’m in the south of France. So far the food has been underwhelming. Had way better luck wandering in to random restaurants in Italy, Portugal, Greece, Spain... the U.K.

If having a sandwich and some fruit on holiday qualifies for membership of the relentless conspicuous consumerism club, i’m starting to think this golf club thing is going be a re-run of the time I had to explain the difference between hipster twattery and kids having fun with fashion.

probably, what one person considers good or normal (e.g. a scotch egg not made of willies, clits, bums and gristle) is a gross extravagance to others.
lording that you are eating decent bread on foreign soil is beyond evil

Although sizes are 24cm or 28cm. Not sure I've ever seen a 25cm pan

Borough Kitchen (just by London Bridge) stock All Clad, if you are determined to spend more than double the price of Le Crueset.

^ agree, I picked up a great sauté pan in the Lewisham branch. I’d save the serious money for buying top range non-stick.
It’s been ages since I could be arsed to make these slow roasted pork tortellini, worth the sore back.

Not sure about that size but Harrods probably carry the widest range of pans in London. I’d go for a Mauviel M’cook
