I'm not sure, but I think it may vary a bit year on year. I heard mutterings the next edition will be 2020.

Thanks. I'm up near there and fancied a ride. Thought i'd do this route if time.

I used some of it as a tour last year; the start to Malham, and over Salter Fell (which is a great track).

I think I still have that uber XC casing one you sold me?
Is it still in good shape?
-
• #14581
I think so? Killed the Ralph but the Nic was fine when I took it off. Will check (and make sure I still have it)

I have some nice MTB finishing kit going if say someone was building up something new;
- Hope cranks in blue with BSA bb and all tools
- Hope 180/160 ano blue ISO disc rotors
- Easton Havoc 50mm stem and 740 carbon bars
- Crank Bros mallet pedals
- Shimano XTR 11 speed derailleur and shifter
- XD driver cassette
All used but in good working condition. Anyone interested in this lot as a bundle? It's nice stuff, so it's not going to be cheap, but I can do eBay price - 15% or something.

Would be interested in the mech/shifter price/condition dependant

That was the plan. Weather is terrible so I've gone back to london. Not the time of year for schleping around in the rain.
-
• #14587
Sorry but I want to offload it all as a job lot, not bit by bit.
-
• #14588
Yeah, the weather is proper shit, exemplified by today's U23 TT.

Porter and Rojo pioneered the reintroduction of long, low and slack into mountain bike geo. The Sick pretenders just ran with it as a literal fashion accessory and went to extremes.
Remember forward geometry? -
• #14590
I think the Sick guys watched this - https://www.bikeradar.com/news/how-long-can-you-go-jon-woodhouses-extreme-geometry-hardtail-video/ and thought "We can do that!"
-
• #14591
Yeah, I remember that.
Amazing to think it's getting close to standard geo now. The new BFe has a 64.1° head angle with a 160mm fork. -

When your slackline is no longer slack
-
• #14593
When I had my 26" Slackline I was like "wow" and now I'm like "pfffffft."
-
• #14594
My Blue Pig had a 65.6 degree head angle in 2010
-
• #14595
Well done you. But the general trend of longer, lower, slacker isn't just a slack headangle.
-
• #14596
:(

• #14597
Now you tell me
-
• #14598
I'll post a smiley face next time so that I come across as less of a twat.
But the point I was making is that super slack head angles that were once seen as so extreme they were only seen on downhill rigs, taken holistically as part of LL&S, have become routine and mainstream.

Pah, that's nothing compared to that On One frame that is 62! If you think you need a 160mm fork on a hardtail you're probably best considering an enduro rig.

I had a 160mm travel hardtail - it was awesome
anyone got the dales 200 route?
