That's purely from reading about them. I've owned an e36 m3 evo, but never even sat in an alpina.

I always wanted a Evo saloon.

I wonder if they'll appreciate better than the coupé as I'm pretty sure the E36 was the only M3 saloon (until the 4 series GT I guess). Plus pretty much every one out there has probably been ragged to shit, lowered and left to rust.

E90 had an M3 saloon also (there's one down the road from me doing duty as a solid family car)
