I was expecting the same but had a quite chilled one this morning. Hardly anyone on the roads and a bit of a tailwind. And new overshoes so at least i had dry toes this morning

I was wearing overshoes too, after half an hour of splashes from the left, the right, above, and below, my shoes were drenched anyway :(

Got some of those Velotoze things which seem to do the trick.

....plus full length mudguards which dont hurt!
