Can confirm, this morning was interesting. My one brake also loses a lot of its power when it's pouring down torrentially, and because I'm not a complete idiot I adjust my speed accordingly - so far so good, except this meant I got to spend a few minutes extra out there that I could really have done without.
Also, there is congestion everywhere. I mean everywhere. How on earth is anyone getting anywhere with a car, I really really don't understand it. It must take them two to three times the time it takes me on my bike. I'd go insane.

I was expecting the same but had a quite chilled one this morning. Hardly anyone on the roads and a bit of a tailwind. And new overshoes so at least i had dry toes this morning

Great one this morning, overtaking a lane of traffic not going anywhere North of Mile End. Some guy pulls out of a junction through the traffic at speed and has to slam on the brakes when he sees me coming. White van driver cunt shouts "you shouldn't be overtaking down the outside anyway".
