  • They’re a very comfortable size and shape. Not too big, certainly for a 500m rated watch. The lugs curve down so it hugs the wrist and the crown is very recessed at 4. Smaller and more comfortable than your average Seiko diver (though its overall dimensions are very similar to an SKX007).

  • Forgot to say thanks for the info regarding the size of the squale. I always loved my skx but got annoyed with it's height.

    Also, thanks @Jingle_Jangle for the pic... Must stop replying to threads just as I'm about to sleep. Always forget things!

  • No worries - the thickness of the 1521 is only slightly less than the SKX007, they’re both in the region of 13mm. I just think it wears a bit nicer because of the lug shape and the way the case thins at the side - it’s got a bit of a bubble back.
