What time is it? Watches and horology

They’re a very comfortable size and shape. Not too big, certainly for a 500m rated watch. The lugs curve down so it hugs the wrist and the crown is very recessed at 4. Smaller and more comfortable than your average Seiko diver (though its overall dimensions are very similar to an SKX007).

I wouldn’t go so far as to say it sits low. Probably settle with ‘not too high’.

I do get stressed when I realise I’ve done that. It’s only ever been with the turtle though, dunno why that would be.

Something similar for myself today. I think these are some of the best value watches you can get.

I do like a 4 o'clock crown.

I know what you mean - especially as there's some sort of weird inverse law about the size of a discrepancy and the effect it has on value for collector watches. I'm way too scared to dabble in those waters unless its for money i'm prepared to lose.

PS strong page - particularly the OP and Cosmic - I think the rain bouncing off the window helps make you appreciate the white dial sunshine vibes more.

£? Ever been serviced whilst you've owned it?

I got it from sacredheart only a few months ago and he said that he’d just had it serviced by a proper Omega person at quite a cost. It certainly is very clean and keeps time fine.

£? I paid £575 so thinking as I’ve had it a few months £525 seems reasonable
