I just had a Canyon Ultimate CF SLX (presumably same type of carbon) repaired in the NL and am very happy with the job they did for less than €200. Frame color is the same (matte black) and it's not too noticeable. But you can definitely see the transition from "old" frame to "new" repair spot.
It rides as it did before and after a week or so treating it a bit more carefully I'm back to riding it over cobbles and doing the odd bunny hop. If I was in the market for a good quality carbon frame and it had been repaired and backed by a warranty, I'd definitely buy it.
Price drop...
Genesis Volare 931 Disc - now £1,250.
Any thoughts from the floor as to whether the Canyon would be more attractive if I got it fixed myself at londoncarbonrepairs and sold for slightly higher including their lifetime warranty?
