Did too many long races in a row this year and then developed a persistent problem with my knee (peroneal nerve). I had to completely stop running, which just left me totally bummed out*, so I got a skateboard to keep me entertained/relive my youth. A few weeks back at it and starting to feel like I had regained the skills of my youth, I spectacularly rolled my ankle at the skatepark and realised I am not young any more.
Plan is to let this heal, swim lots, try and train for climbing as best as I can, and then hopefully be able to run by the end of the year, aiming to just do lots of fun short races in 2020 and get a bit of pace in my legs. But I’ll probably just get injured again.

*so bummed out I didn’t even have to heart to check strava or this thread for several months.
