Swapped the bars for something with less epic sweepz. Raleigh trekking, wouldn't mind a tad more width, but they were cheap.
Just need a Wald now. Unfortunately my LBS seems fairly useless at getting hold of one, despite having it on their website.

Current guise. Swapped front guard for a long one. Just need to refit dynamos and we're good for winter grocery getting.
Makes me miss commuting by bike 😥

That is incredible.

Oh yeah, there was this too. Fun, but less so than a modern MTB. Prefer it in fully functional mode.

Oh yes! Why ever buy a modern mtb when you could have this...!

Missed this somehow. Very cool bike and awesome iterations!

Because a modern one is lighter, brakes better and the fork doesn't steer in direction you're not pointing it! That said, this is still a great bike on fire roads etc.
Yeah I saw that, severely tempted. RE. flaps: I think that's from where it came off the roll, hopefully it'll level out.
@MisterMikkel, the mircoshift site seems to suggest their 10sp shifters can be run on friction, though I'm not quite sure how. I guess that'd give you an option should you not get on with it. http://www.microshift.com.tw/BS-A10_Shifters_road.html
