Yup its the black n blue winders in the wrong position , watch is the later version . yellow hands are
Supposed to be special order as they stand out more clearly in the night time cockpit lighting that aircraft used back then , the case I think has been refinished but in the correct directional brushed finish which radiates out wards in a sun burst effect when I got the watch
It had the original metal bracelet but was missing some of the links , so it was to short for me I was
Lucky to get the original Omega mesh bracelet some years ago from an Australian eBay seller
Who use to stock quite a few original flight master parts , the only thing wrong with it is it has a large scratches across the case back where some one let a case back tool slip , I should have got a new case back when I got the mesh bracelet but they were very pricy and now almost impossible to find ,
The same with the original metal bracelets which Omega stopped making many years ago .
The Original Omega replacement metal bracelet is also getting hard to find . Or is stupid expensive -

mmmm ....yes I suppose, but not underhand in any way ,still I am alway honest about any faults and it’s in a lot better condition than most of the flight-masters you see for sale

That is a good price. Someone here was looking for one a while ago. That one in my pic was in really good condition and went for around £3000. I should have taken more pics at the time but I wasn’t that interested in buying it - but it was mint with all papers including Omega services, original receipt from 1971 etc.
Good luck with your sale. -

All original as far as I know
If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. On closer inspection your dial is missing the ‘T SWISS MADE T’ meaning it’s a luminova service dial and the hands are clearly the same.
Edit: I’ll add that this isn’t a problem if you’re OK with it, especially if you want the practical benefit of using it in low light. Personally I like a bit of patina and character, service dials tend to suck that out.

And that means it’s not original? Would that have been done by Omega in the 1991 refurb?
-
• #38089
No, post 1995 ish. It’s probably Omega but it’s not the original dial it came with and that for me is a big fat no no.
What does original mean to you? -
• #38090
Original means as it says. Thanks for the info, I’m still amazed about the detail of knowledge it takes to identify these things. I am safer looking at new watches!
I better say, that my info was all from memory so the dates may not be 100% accurate.

^This is why I buy new watches, and would buy second hand from a dealer that I would have recourse with if (for e.g.) the watch was later found to not be as described.

Bought mine from a dealer but I didn’t spot the winder error till ages later and to be fair to TGR
A lot of “ dealers” are not as carful or as knowledgeable as they should be . -

Still loving this little watch, it's picked up a few battle scars already... Keeps terrific time, lost about half a second in two days...

I just watched the talking watches with Jean-Claude Biver, which is great. What is the reference second from the right? They say it is a new watch with a 1937 vintage movement, but don't give the ref in the video.

This looks great on. Definitely one for my list... Always searching for the perfect diver.
Does it sit high on the wrist or is it pretty low profile? -

3670A. If you were watching it from the Sunday rewind they posted, click through to the original post, the details are there.
It was serviced by Omega in 1991 I think. All original as far as I know
