my mate's given me his carradice to borrow to see if i have enough clearance to buy one (i ride a very small frame)
(i should add that the only reason i want one is to sew my audax patches onto. i have a bridge street saddle bag but i can't sew stuff onto it)
anyway, clearance is tight, as expected.
i'll obviously go and test it on a ride but does anyone else have a carradice which is that close to their rear 'guard / tyre? and yes, that guard needs adjusting, i know.
That’s absolutely fine, you can always add the Carradine supporting struts onto the bagman if you have upper mounts on the frame which will eliminate any movement
Would you mind letting me know how the two compare after you've given it some use? I use my bridge street all the time and it's great, but a carradice looks considerably more sexy so I could be swayed.
