Got the 'riding home' incentive entire time for that, though trains might be expensive at short notice.

I've done a Fri night train to Bristol and that sucked so I'd maybe try going Sat daytime and then riding back on the Sunday. But now I've thought about it, I quite like the LWL/Severn route so maybe I'll just take her on that one.

The calendar one started at 12 for train travellers. IIRC.

But like you say, it is a faff.
