There’s no such thing as a 16v mk1 GTI from the factory as far as I’m aware.

Oettinger did a 16v conversion called a 16 S that’s very rare

Actually I think this is the manifold (if not the entire engine) from a mk2 Scirocco GT 16v. Super rare, LHD only. Possibly using the manifold from the Oettinger engines?

Ah yeah scirocco 16v! Super rare, if forgotten they existed. I’d say it’s definitely that setup.

The Oettinger head / inlet is totally different to anything from VW
