There’s no such thing as a 16v mk1 GTI from the factory as far as I’m aware.

Oettinger did a 16v conversion called a 16 S that’s very rare

The engine can be swapped from the MK2. Have a euro spec mk1 GTD with the MK2 td engine.

Actually I think this is the manifold (if not the entire engine) from a mk2 Scirocco GT 16v. Super rare, LHD only. Possibly using the manifold from the Oettinger engines?
