  • No splitting I suppose?

  • Dynamo stuff if you split. Thanks

  • Nah I'd rather just take it with me and struggle up some hills before eventually conceding and splitting.

  • 2nd on dynamo if splits

  • I'll sell you the dynamo kit for £399 and throw in a free bike.

  • photos of the best and the worst bits

  • Forgot to say, GP4000 tyres on there

  • Price drop : £375

  • This is well good value.

  • Indeed - this kind of set-up saw me through years of trouble-free commuting and overnight rides to the seaside.

  • Is that the launderette on cotham hill?

  • Nope

  • Ah ok. Small world but not that small. Thought maybe we were neighbours. Guess all launderettes pretty much look the same.

  • That end of town is a bit posh for me ;)

  • Me too. I just hide it well..

  • Can post this if required.

  • Back up for sale: £200 without the front dynamo wheel or lights or rack. Collection from Cardiff or Bristol, I can probably post at cost (how much is that these days - £20?)

    So that's:

    Pearson Touche Frame
    Columbus Hiver fork (full carbon)
rear wheel: converted deore xt rear hub set up dingle/fixed with 2 6 bolt cogs +HPlusSon TB14 rim
Campag Chorus Ultra Torque Carbon Chainset - again 2 chainrings (zircal alloy, TA I think)
    carbon post
    sks mudguards
    TRP R539 dual pivot brakes
    Sram S500 levers
    M520 pedals
    PRO stem
    FSA Omega (I think) bars - 42cm
    Charge Pan saddle
    GP 4000 tyres (fairly worn)

Get a cheap front wheel and you have a workhorse winter bike.

  • Price drop: £180

  • Could you just confirm ST and TT centre to centre size - is it definitely 56cm square?

  • @MessengerFantasy will confirm when I'm back at home

  • Out of curiosity, how is the dinglespeed set up/ how are the chainlines?

  • Chainlines are spot on as far as I can remember. Something like this with the correct spacers to match the road crankset

  • Great price for a great winter hack - I have a Douche and it won't die!
