Interesting thing on Antiques Roadshow tonight. 1968 Omega Speedmaster Ultraman - in original condition. Valued between £30000 and £40000.

Was the owner aware of what it is and how rare they are?

I think he guessed it was worth more than the £45 he paid for it in Hong Kong but I don’t think he knew it was that rare. He looked surprised when Ultraman was mentioned. Lucky guy!
