Thanks for the info 👍 Not sure what it weighs to be honest, but enough for me to notice it when climbing station stairs! Edit: weighs 13.5kg in current guise.

Is Rohloff the only option, it is it possible to build a wheel with an Alfine 8/11 hub?

13.5kg can be beaten for sure.

Rohloff is my preference, black edition or silver components? I do have an alfine 11 wheel in silver awaiting a bike to go on...

Save &500 on a hub, you pay rrp on that not a good discount on the Rohloff, you need a shifter rather than it being included. - Jtek one is nice but £120 to factor in!

Good to know 13.5kg can be beaten, would be nice to knock a kilo or so off if possible without going overboard on costs. Nice as they are, Rohloff = ££££££!
