  • Serious car trouble (one car household, rural, 3 kids = nightmare)
Citroen Nemo Automatic (don't laugh) 2012. Basically similar/same as Peugeot Bipper/Fiat Forino/Berlingo etc.
Was all fine yesterday. Went to start this morning and
Weird (rather than usual electrical start up/switch on sound when turning key first click)
    Not turning over at all
    Fuse relay ticking
    Speedo flicking up and down
    Hazards on/off intermittently
Various warnings Inc EPS, Fuel Cut off, Hill hold and a variation between a few and all dash lights flashing and a lot of flickering/ticking and general weird electrical type shit.

Can't get a read on portable diagnostic machine as I guess power from/to car won't maintain even when it's linked to a battery charger AN other car through jump leads.

    Any ideas?

  • Disconnect the battery for a minute, then reconnect.

Renault have a no start, unresponsive snag, which pulling a fuse or battery sorts.

  • How old is the battery?

  • Citroen Nemo Automatic (don't laugh) 2012

The only reason I'm laughing is that I nearly bought one at about the same time, but then I looked at how little extra the Berlingo was over the life cycle and how much more van you got. IIRC, it came to about £5 a week, which made the Berlingo a no-brainer. Not that having a Berlingo would make any difference in your current position, as they probably use a very similar computer, and everything computer driven is subject to bugs and glitches. My 2019 Berlingo started talking to me in French the other day, for no reason 🤷🏻‍♂️ #csb

As @user69121 suggests, a cold boot might fix it, as long as the battery is good.
