I had a VT400 for quite a while. Sleeved version of the VT500. The Honda V Twins were lovely to ride. Laid mine down a few times though, still managed loads of flat out runs to Portsmouth and back in all weathers.

I used to have a VT500, bloody loved it but had to get rid when I moved back to London for a bit and my insurance went up x10

They have a really nice sound.

One of my neighbours had an Africa Twin but he'd had the VT500 before. He gave me the workshop manual for the Vt500, pretty sure I still have it. There's certainly some family similarities between the VT's and the Africa. Maybe less so with the 750's.
