Looks like really good imo. I prefer the red paintjob though.
If it ends up around the price of the Polyvalent I'd say good value too.
And sensible tyre options for the vertically challenged.

Less of a Pass Hunter now-adays, but cool to see more contemporary standard steel frames becoming available for about the same price as a Surly.
Very weary of that wishbone stay though...

Yea maybe, guess it depends on saddle to bar drop preferences. I dig this personally, and the aesthetic is growing on me

• #22038
Would very much like one of these

This is confusing because it clearly enough for more than 28mm with 700c if it can take 650b 48mm tyres.
Like, if you can fit 48mm, then 700c with 38mm will.

It specified 28 + guards, maybe they're being very generous with the guard clearance

622/2-584/2 = 19mm difference
so 650b 48mm ~700c 29mm? -

As I found out, it also depends on chainstay length and OLD.
Also, are you conflating width and height? -

I guess so! but even Specialized isn't the first to do this, the earliest one I can think of is those randonneur handlebar.
