Absolutely. Not heard anyone disputing that? Not sure it means Scotland assumes equal responsibility for the full weight of colonialism or conquest in the name of the crown, however and certainly doesn't seem like Scotland shares the same reputation abroad as England.
You'll need to ask yourself why that might be, apparently my ancestors xenophobia makes my opinions moot.
Wasn't British Imperialism a joint enterprise between the English and the Scots? Fairly sure that Glasgow, the second city of the empire, was built on wealth derived from slavery.
