My folks are after a new car, so considering an EV. They’ve asked for my thoughts, but TBH I have very little idea.
My gut says a PHEV over a full fat EV. But that is probably the “what if fear” over charging points. Thoughts? I also worry about battery as it won’t be used much in London.
Also what to look at? Needs 4/5 doors, but there are only two of them and much of it is city driving. However, they do drive to France a lot and need a reasonable amount of space for ferrying random shit and bringing back cases of wine and cornichon.
Initial thoughts are VW and Nissan, but what else to look at?
Does anyone actually have an EV or PHEV?
