A man spent £30,000 of his savings on a failed legal battle "for justice" over a £100 speeding fine.

Richard Keedwell, 71, said a "seriously flawed" legal system meant fighting the fine had taken nearly three years and used up his sons' inheritance money.

Instead of being glad that fines for speeding in general are so low and you get them so rarely...

It was for going 35 in a 30mph zone. It's not like they said he was doing 80 in 40 zone and running over little old ladies.

And he still failed. It's not that the system is against him, it's that he thinks the system doesn't apply to him for some reason.
