How is it physically possible to fix a rear flat without removing the wheel? How do you get the tube around the dropouts?
You don’t, you just patch it without removing it.
I put tubeless sealant into the tubes on all my bikes and after a year, I've yet to have a puncture on anything. I can't recommend it highly enough, it really does work.
This sort of thing exists.
