Yeah. Post war austerity measures meant Levi's still had to be conservative with the use of cotton and other raw materials, so they weren't 36" outta the factory. I believe they were all measured at 34".
These Warehouse's would've been 34" too but they lose 2.5" in their factory wash.
I had them hemmed to 29" anyway.
Got some great new Warehouse Duck Digger 1001XX's from Clutch Cafe. Hemmed and shipped yesterday from London, turned up today in New York. Fit is spot on for a pair of 1947s. First time I've purchased without trying on in a decade, but Scott at Clutch was, as always, very helpful with figuring out measurements.
