  • Well, thats the training done. Im on a weeks rests until sunday for the great north run.

    Absolutely bricking it. The training has been fun and im averaging 7 miles with the intention of making ten before the run. However last week was brutally hot and I managed 9 before the missus and I called it a day. Just got to get through this run and I can have a nice cold beer.

  • Make sure you are relaxed and try to enjoy it. The great North Run can be very very busy at the start, particularly getting in to the pens. Be as prepared as you can.

    Just entered the shortest course at the OMM. Now I have to hope it is possible to get public transport away from the location on a Sunday afternoon...
