Wait, what? Conti made some tyres which don't fit the bike they're most likely to be used on? Or is your brake mounting different to stock?
-
• #7278
we have very differing tastes

Was that a burn? Felt like a burn...

Correct, they do not fit with stock guards.

I've just attached a carradice saddle bag to it and it works pretty well.

Red, lime and lagoon blue dropped... house red, Matt orange and graphite added.
A royal blue added for electric bikes too...

Matt orange, would ride

Won't matt get filthy really quickly?
-
• #7286
Matt = satin ... just use a little isopropyl alcohol on a tea towel and clean as a whistle!

There are some GT85 products which I use to clean and shine my bikes! #notsponsored

@R.hobbs, quick one for you - having real issues setting up a 2sp rear derailleur - new cable and outer, cleaned and lubed, yet the shifting is really sluggish. Bike is a year old and in really good shape. Seems to spring back and forth when the tensioner and wheel are removed but reverts to being shite when all put back. Maybe replace the cable anchorage and spring set?

pull the limits out to start with, sluggish both ways or up? down?
-
• #7290
It’s sluggish both ways. BUT - he’s got aftermarket pulleys fitted to the stock tensioner. Replaced the tensioner with a new one and all works fine. Think the alu pulleys are just too heavy. Will be placing an order with you later this afternoon!

• #7291
all sorted!
After market tensioners are crap from experience.
nothing works as well as the stock one, but they are nicer aesthetically. function over form!
-
• #7292
Yeah, I said as much to the customer! Told him to return the alu ones for a refund :)

Tidy!

H type with flat bars. Coming up as the same height as my S type, but significantly closer and wider for me, perfect. No problems with the fold. Cables possibly a little tight and will be changed to custom-made length when I upgrade the gear levers. Love it, my favourite version so far.

Y u no front disc?
If you have a search around there’s a post somewhere on the internet where someone modified the bag frame – it’s a simple tube design.
Then you can just find a normal casual bag you like, and attach it.
EDIT: here it is, it's for panniers: https://www.instructables.com/id/Brompton-pannier-adapter/
