Every comment about Brexit protests on news stories is "what will 17,4 million look like" "what will 17.4 million sound like" or "all the Leavers are at work, wait till you see" .
You'd think if they care so much about sovereignty and democratic representation they would be out supporting their leader. Where are they? Farage's march was a no show.
If they don't bother coming onto the street to do it then I think once and for all we'll discover Brexits a stuffed shirt driven by Banks funded troll factories pushing social media comments. Boris is just discovering he allowed his infallible worst instincts to guide him to the wrong side of history.

Where I lived before in Belfast there sometimes were dogs barking early in the morning. Not ideal, but then...I can sleep with earplugs, so not too big a deal.
Moving to the country and complaining about country animal sounds though, wow,

Well, I suppose I moved to a city and I complain about people all the time...

The "winning" side has less of an incentive to go out and protest.
Brexit voters have also joined the anti-proroguation protests, there was also a smaller Brexit protest in support of proroguation. I think that is a little more complex than remain/leave.
At the same time... if they aren't willing to work hard NOW to get what they want/need (some areas housing etc. are dire, but setting up a housing co-op is a long slow process mostly initiated by "lefties") I really don't see them be able to sustain a long protest campaign.

There was the guy who moved into a flat by (above?) a well established gig venue & complained about the noise...

"What we want to make clear is that speculative and inaccurate stories about restrictions making the hall impossible to use for the traditional events it has always been associated with are just not true.
"The noise rules will only affect a small minority of the events put on at the halls.
so why the need for the order then?

the abuse was racial, even if racism by proxy
That was my thought too. Wondering if the lack of BAME people in Cumbria have left Thor and his lackeys short of ways to vent their racism, and this guy, well he was from Africa so might have been the best they could find.
That's the trouble with Brexit and Trump, it might have given people the permission to be racist, but what about all those folk that don't have people to be racist against? who is catering for them?

See also the new block of flats built opposite the Ministry of Sound whose developers then complained about the noise.

Wasn't there something written into the leases where they weren't allowed to complain about the noise, as a condition getting permission for the flats being built?
May be misremembering.

Easy way to make a few quid, buy flat, get rid of the noisy thing that stopped others buying flat, sell flat.

I grew up in Cumbria. This stuff was fairly common in the 90s. I'd guess it just hasn't moved on as apposed to sliding backwards.

If she wants that much peace, she just shouldn't live near anyone... buy a farm and leave everyone else alone!?

Why's her garden such a barren unkempt shitehole if she likes it so much?

Every comment about Brexit protests on news stories is "what will 17,4 million look like" "what will 17.4 million sound like" or "all the Leavers are at work, wait till you see" .
There's only 15m of them left.

• #57972
So they're either at work or at funerals, gotcha!
-
• #57973
Either that the excessive BBQ and cigarette smoke has laid waste to it. Poor thing.

at work
I thought the poles were the ones doing that, wasn't that the problem?

people who complain about animal sounds
Knock knock
A retired lawyer moved next to St Andrews Hall in Norwich and complained about the music played there since the middle ages, probably.
