Cheers for the advice. I’m aware I’m settimg myself for things not working properly as a result of trying to retrofit stuff. This is the story of all my builds.

Actually thinking about it, the WTB Laser Disc Single Duty Rear Hub from the wheels I'm selling may be of interest - Single Speed Disc Wheelset - Shimano XT Front Hub, WTB Single Duty Rear Hub, Mavic A317 Rims with rotors: £40. That hub can be extracted from the wheel if so, it's a great hub although freewheel disc not fixed.
Sorting my old Kona out as a budget s/s for cruising the South Downs (and yes I’ll be pushing the bike a lot)
Looking for:
1x chainset with narrow wide ring
Ss hub conversion kit thingy
Some half decent folding mtb tyres
Some lock on grips
Possibly a cheap dropper post, I think it’s 27.2 will confirm
Cheap fixed 26” rear wheel
Probs some other bits tbc
Whatcha got?
