Weird, I've lived about 10 minutes from I Am Doner since it opened, had never been, went last night for the first time and then read this thread with a quote from the owner. Would really recommend it if you're ever in Leeds! There's a fancy beer place a couple of doors down that lets you bring it in there to eat as well.

I'm in Leeds again next week, may give that place a try -I've never had a kebab before.

@Oliver Schick - Hope you're right, looks like I'm going to have to spend two weeks there...

Would recommend! It's a bit out of the city centre, maybe 15 minutes by bus but Headingley is a nice little suburb, some nice bars and cafes and things. Also, I don't know what sort of size you are but shoot me a message if you could ride a 54 top tube and want to borrow a bike whilst you're up!
