Interested in the S-phyre for my partner. She has Empire's but they're a little too narrow for her. Can you ask your other half if she feels the fit of the S-phyre is more generous than the Empire?

I have a pair of Empire Knit (road) and S-Phyre MTB myself. There’s not much in it, there’s a small amount more room in the S-Phyres I think.
I guess there’s a bit more room in the Knot version over standard due to the material too.
