Patch cost me £75 and I constantly remind her of this fact.
Fun fact (or not) - Battersea has to put everything through their till, obviously... on there it says items 1 - cat, item 2 - 5L cat little or whatever, can’t remember. On the bottom, it has the usually statement about if you are not satisfied about your purchase, you can return within 28days for a full refund etc. I also still now and again remind Patch that I should have returned her for a full refund. 🤣

One of the kids' friend's cat has a litter of kittens. We were thinking of taking one, however we have now been told that the price is £200 for a kitten.
I was unaware that there is a market in which a standard moggy kitten can fetch £200, is that normal? I've just done a bit of googling and it seems that there are people trying to charge that amount for non pedigree kittens, but also plenty of people asking a much more reasonable £50-£60.
I've also had a look at Battersea D&C Home, however they only seem to have older cats which could be problematic as we have a cat already.
