Not london, but this week if express order..

Had to drill out a bolt from the front mech shifter to swap over from the flat mtb bars, but they arrived today so fitted them this afternoon. Feels much narrower but hopefully nice and upright. Gotta true up the front wheel before the next use though, hit a few too many bumps ‘fully loaded’ and it’s a bit like a quaver now.

Yep, no super wide but nice shape, mainly for my wife to use so I have to make sacrifices!

Quite unforgiving when you have about 100kg of Champagne in the box and you push the bike off the stand with the lock on...

I will do the bike shop rounds tomorrow at lunchtime and report

Got to admit it took me a good while to figure out why parked motorcycles often have those brightly coloured cables going from the front wheel (-lock) up to the bars

Is the general view that once you get to 2+ beings in the cargo area the best bet is some form of trike e.g. Babboe or Christiana? I live in a hilly area and want to go on adventures with 2 kids under 3 and a medium sized dog in the cargo area. So I'm thinking electric Babboe curve might suit but it is £££.

Condor are almost a certain yes. Geoffrey Butler probably a yes if you’re down that way. Deens Garage in Beckenham keep spokes in stock.

They are short spokes though - that might be your issue.

Urban arrow have one redemptive feature, they have a rubber mounting for the wheel lock so when you inevitably forget it just goes boing

I’ve had the keys in the ignition more than once before seeing the cable and remembering the lock. It’s a lifesaver

Yes, although it’s not necessarily enough to save your spokes. Record number of spokes we’ve torn through is 14 in one go. (By accident of course)

Should probably get some deep v's and paint them wheel-of-fortune-style..

Yea looks much better than my deathtrap off him... still wouldn’t tho.

I just read a post on the FB Omnium owners' group, and was thinking about carrying Junior on mine. I originally thought I'd strap the car seat on, but after seeing @t0-ster 's setup I reckon I might go for the lift instead. He's only 3 weeks old, so we're not in a rush, but since his buggy is quite bumpy (and he still sleeps soundly through that) maybe I shouldn't have to wait too long? Initial rides will of course be very local and 95% on smooth and segregated cycle lanes.

Any thoughts from cargo mums/dads out there?
