And in order for the opposition to win the electorate, Corbyn probably has to go? Moderate Tory remain voters will certainly close ranks against him, whatever campaign Johnson fights. And, hate them or otherwise, any party or group of parties needs a sway of those voters to win.

Yes - force an election against 'anti-democrats', promising leave whatever, winning back enough Brexit party numbers to get a majority then don't think he much cares - try to get deal through with new majority probably because he won't be left with the worst crap as his legacy.
