Yeah, that's the random other ones. They seem to cover very specific areas, I don't really know why.

Community Fibre
Talk Talk would do the same I think, but I've been a customer for a while and I didn't want to be any more.

We have virgin fibre and it is superfast but they also put the price up every few months which is annoying.

Zen internet are worth a look if they are in your neighbourhood.
Fiber coverage is decent for a small company (we have moved house with them too). First place it was fiber to house, now cabinet, but speeds are still more than enough.
I also started working from home so solid uptime is a necessity (In 5+ years have never had an issue with them).

Cheers, I'll have a look!

I guess you're in a block of flats are you? For the smaller fibre companies that's what they tend to roll out to first as there are obviously far more customers

I like the Phone Co-op:
Co-op (obviously), responsive customer service, never a bad experience.

I think its less, uh, Minty Fresh. For whatever reason a lot of men's stuff has decided that its a good idea to make it feel like you're smearing toothpaste down there

+1 for Zen when you absolutely cannot be without connectivity

Is women specific chamois cream different from non-specific cream? and if so do you know anyone that sells it in little sachets?
I don't know about all brands, but I've had the chance to compare Assos gender-neutral chamois cream and their women's version, and if there is a difference I don't know what it is. The only difference I could see was that the women's version came in a much smaller pot, with purple rather than pale blue graphics on it.

• #98516
no idea (...) I have 0 experience
Are you that guy who answers myriads of user questions on amazon with "I don't know"?

I hope it also cost more, to complete the misogynist marketing trifecta.
-
• #98518
In £/g, yes, it does.
-

In £/g
Not like Assos to miss a trick, they could easily have got away with making it more expensive in absolute terms.
The ingredients list is different, although once you translate all the plant extracts which are in the ladies' version but not the men's from Latin to English it becomes less clear whether you're reading about gooch goop or a boutique gin. -

If there is a difference I'm pretty sure it's just the smell. The texture and consistency is identical. I'm just surprised they went for purple rather than pink.
-
• #98521
Pink?! How very dare you.
-
• #98522
It would be part of the classic women's marketing trifecta, as @mdcc_tester has pointed out:
(1) Shrink it
(2) Pink it
(3) Double the price -

ahh this is the site I was trying to remember earlier but couldn't remember the name. I knew it was a guys name but could only think of Tom's Hardware and google wasn't helping. Yeah I used that when I was looking for a new ISP and it led me to Zen. Been with them for about 8 years now and never had any problems. Good customer service and never had a problem with connection that wasn't a BT infrastructure issue, and they have a good fault tracker on their website.
I was with IDNet before them. Another really good ISP but at the time they were really expensive with a restrictive usage allowance that could easily bump up the bill. Couldn't justify staying with them but I don't know if they've changed their pricing since then. Both Zen and IDnet are good for not over-subscribing their lines which causes slowdown at peak times.

I've got a pack of this flooring left over from the previous owner of our home. I want to get more but I can't figure out where it's from. Can anyone help?

Made by Polish company Barlinek in 2003. They might not make the same product any more (most EAN databases don't list it) but they have a UK site and appear to still be in business: https://www.barlinek.co.uk/
E: Probably either Oak Caramel Grande or Oak Caramel Herringbone 130.
