Your mate’s mate isn’t Dan from That Pedal Show, is he?
@Sparky - actually, ignore the Fuel Tank Jr, it only has 5 outputs and you probably want more, if you add more pedals in future. Check what the maximum current through each output is as well, some pedals (like delays) draw much more than an overdrive. Also, figure out if you need a power supply with different voltage options. Most pedals are 9v DC, but 12, 18 and even 24v are found.

I'll look at that, thanks. About time I spent some money on something to keep them in order rather than another pedal to clutter the place up.

Saw your other reply after posting. I'll see what other options are out there. Andertons website seems to list a baffling array of them. This is like bloody bike parts all over again. Some research to be done...

I will admit to watching Anderton's Youtube channel and wanting a metallic purple Squier fsr Tele
edit - shit sold out until 2020!

I recently built myself a cheapo solution using a sheet of pegboard, zip ties and velcro cable ties. I'm the kind of person that resents spending much on something to hold other things. I'll take a photo tonight.
Used a Tone City Substation 1 for power. 10 outputs, not noticed much extra noise.

This had occurred to me, and I bought some strong Velcro to do the same. But then I started thinking about power needs... and whether there was an all-in-one thing. If they're usually separate, as it seems, I may buy a fancy power thing but knock up a wooden pedalboard. I'm currently doing a guitar building course so could do it in the workshop during a quiet lesson.

If I was in Europe I'd buy two of the small Harley Benton power supplies, they're so cheap...

If I could find something like this, but with just another male connector on the other end, I could make a pedalboard and hide the power supply underneath and make it all look quite swish.

If there's such a thing as a 1/4" mount in the same way, then I could also have guitar input and amp output on the side too. That'd look quite finished.

Like this but better quality:

They're very bloody good too.

I also hate velcro on the underside of pedals, getting all hairy and meaning they slide around on wooden floors when not on the board. This is much less sexy, but it is very easy to swap in and out. Just waiting for some rubber feet.

Have any forumengers done The Totnes School of Guitar Making? I really want to take a guitar building course soon but which one? Ireland or UK is fine but I can't afford to take a year off work to do it sadly...

Are you looking to build an electric or acoustic?
I built a solid body electric in my garden here with a template from @christianSpaceman, with very few tools. You might be able to just do it yourself!

I'd have good enough faith in building an electric myself alright, I'd really like to try an archtop actually!

Me too man. What's the blank metal box on that one ^^

I've decided that I like the cranked gain sound from my Arc Effects Klone more than any other gain pedal I've owned. Can't comment as to other Klones or indeen Klons but It doesn't really do it for me as a clean boost on account of the mid-hump. i LOVE IT as a full-one hairy overdrive though. I think what would be cool is stacking it with another more full range clean-ish boost in font of it. Might try a cheap OD3 for sale in a local s/h shop in that role.
then i'd have TBC for fuzz > OD3 for clean(ish) boost > Klone for overdrive > Rat for distortion > time and modulation stuff
Reckon that should serve up just about every flavour of gain one could ask for.

Yep, I thought the Arc with a Timmy worked well. Do agree on the mid-hump mostly being too much when used as a boost, but it can work when properly loud, with band (which I only tried once, and it was thru a '62 Vibrolux, yum)...
Anyone have a tip for an affordable one-knobber boost that adds a Special Something™? EP clone?

JHS just put out a new Rangemaster clone, no idea on price... You still got your Micro Amp?

^ Tragically no, a friend prised it from me long ago under unfortunate circumstances.

That’s going to be a fuzz. Built the innards, just need to do the drilling which I hate.
