I like the good old Bulldog: cheap, easy to remove and the bracket doesn't take too much space when the seat is not fitted /in use.

Yepp mini looks great @Rasmussloth .. it looks like it just needs 30mm-ish steerer length below stem, shouldnt be a problem. I defo need BMX bars/VO Klunker to increase the rise for a comfortable riding above the seat height.

Nah, I am an only child so I am a bit of a selfish asshole, everything cheap/2nd hand for the child and new for me

For me on wifes bike. Worn out parts will be mounted there – and if she askes if it is robust I answer it will not be funny when it brakes. At least I told my son he will get my colorful stainless steel Wera inbus tool set when he's old enough to do repairs for himself.
