yep, its got good clearance at the back, running 27.5x 2.00 with room at the mo. I'm only gonna do some light singletrack/bikepacking stuff. A 26inch fork sounds like a good shout. Would something like this: https://www.probikeshop.com/en/gb/rockshox-30-silver-tk-27-5-100-mm-fork-coil-remote-straight-steerer-9-mm-axle-black-2019/151237.html (if you ignore the wheelsize) be any good, or will it just be a heavy shit fork and I'd be better off staying rigid?
That will be fine if you aren't after anything that needs any finesse. It's coil so reasonably bomb proof but by no means light.
Forks with steel stanchions need a bit more care than alu as the stanchions can corrode if left wet which then eats the fork alive.
I'd look out for some RS Rebas
Thanks!
