Had thought Jack Russel maybe... Owl would be way cooler though. Or Kestrel?

Recaptured cat around midnight.
Relaid piles of dreamies on front and back door.
Cat took himslf out again during the night and was back indoors before daylight in his cat-cave.Might have to make a walkway from shed roof down to the ground as he can get up and over the fence onto next doors shed and get down that side via a coal bunker. But he is having issues getting back to our garden that way.

Yeah my guy loves a belly rub when he's just woken up, only the occasional attack these days.

Aww....sure he’ll scrub up ok. Meanwhile my child-adverse Dizzy is about to meet my 11 year-old niece for the first time in ages, hopefully she’ll behave and not run and hide. More news when it happens.

If i open a bag of crisps or nuts no interest.
Try and shove a bag of dreamies in my pocket..... meow meow meow meow.Only got them to keep him close to house while he learns his way around, so once they have gone it's back to Go-cat biscuit and Whiskers.
Cat is now freely going in and out during the night. -

Patch has gone off dreamies a long time ago. She only likes the meat sticks...
-
• #9291
dreamies have served the purpose of distraction so won't be getting them for ages.
never tried the sticks.
Haven't seen any other cats yet (been here 2 weeks now) so i expect ours to find many mices.

Does anyone have any experience of having sick cats collected by the RSPCA? I crossed paths on my way home with a cat in quite a bad state, was missing an eye that is now infected and a really bad case of ear mites.

I think you can can pretty much drop any sick stray animal to any good vets and they’d take care of them. I have dropped a couple of to my vet and they never ask me for money but was too happy to keep me posted.

Don't know what to do, but coming across a poor animal in that condition make me sad. Also glad that you have taken the time to do something.
The PDSA help, and are usually 24 emergency service.

mum is a bit wary, have spent the last month or so shooing it away cause it's been eyeing my squirrels up, i thought it was predating in the garden but it was trying to get to it's litter .... doh
haven't tried approaching yet
but soon
Sat outside shaking a pack of Dreamies.
Cat wants me to open the flap for him.
Made him go out and in a few times to check he can do it (when he wants too) and show him it's unlocked.
