That's the most funny thing of these races!
The rest is ride and follow the track. Some nice views and a lot of pain hahaha

That's easier... just following the mandatory track.

I like the riding, the views, the pain. Not so much the maps :)

That's much more easy. The worse navigate area is in Portugal... the rest it's more or less simple, with some diferent options but all goods.

Stage 9: 700km 7601m climbed https://www.strava.com/activities/183763586Some Notes over the facts,
Stage 1, I needed to stopped sonner than I wanted because the havy rains on Pyrenees. So I rest longer, clean and dry my clothes
In Stage 4 I had some sleep issues as I hadn't slept between Stage 2 and 3 trying to cut the differences with Omar an trying to add more pressure on he.
Also having Pico Veleta as a goal to get firstly than Omar I pushed more over the night on the Stage 3.
In stage 7 I had many problems in the knees.
The CP3 Pico La Torre turned out to be very hard with 5 kms above 10% on average, late at night and with a lot of humidity it burst my tendons. The next day I couldn't push so I decided to rest them, covered them and reduce inflammation (ibuprofen and radiosalil)In stage 8 I still had knee problems us it's impossible to recover while ride but I still had the personal goal to finished in less than 10 days so planned a last long stage riding thought the night to get it.
Inland Galicia was terrible! quite hilly and unexpected warm

Trying to plan this season is a massive headache and that's just the transit, not even looked at race routes yet.
Anyone from UK/London racing the @TransIbericaBR ? I have a BA Companion voucher to use that might work out cheaper than paying for your own ticket(s) to Bilbao with cash. Let me know, peeps.

And canals.

Starting tonight: https://transiberica2019.legendstracking.com/
Hippy cap#1 -
• #70
Well go on then! Ten minutes past start time and they're all still there.
Hippy appears to be cap number 1.
-
• #71
Transhippyrica?
-
• #72
Hippy is just past the cp1 parcours. Mid pac, though they all are pretty close to each others, less than a day in the race. Though Ulrich #28 is a bit ahead.
Kim and Sami, 12 and 2, are my mates. Second and third now. Sami rode this last year too, and has done Japanese odyssey and lots of other big rides closer by. He hasn't been at the sharp end of a ride like this but knows what he is doing and nothing will probably stop him. Kim hasn't done anything this big but lots of shorter challenging rides and is strong. Not a surprise they are so close to each other now as they've (we've) ridden so much together their pace is pretty similar.

• #73
So many races this year and hippy is involved with every other one. Nice to hear about your mates Samuli.
-
• #74
hippy in seventh position and within reach of all but Ulrich Bartholmos #28 who is out on his own and about to hit CP2. hippy’s Gooch has turned red.

I imagine hippy a bit like tim krabbe and the rider. He isnt actually racing, hes just sat on the sofa tweeting while sipping a fruity ipa.
Probably couldn't find any yellow ones
