Any recomendations in Chesterfield for coffee shops/cafes? Going to the Peak District next week and staying there. (May also get to Sheffield so will be to go to Foundary and Tamper there if I have time).

If anybody fancies some big bold fruity sweet natural Ethiopia Aricha from Yirgacheffe, I bought too much and now I need to call in the new crop stuff. Great in espresso and filter, still tasting amazing, just a little bit long in the tooth if you know what you're looking for. Its freshly roasted, just the green coffee is very slightly past its best. I've been retailing it for £38.00/kg, you can take it for £15.00/kg to clear. KG orders only, shipping £5.50 for 1kg royal mail or £8.50 for multiple kilos by DHL.
Please email me at coffee@yellowbourbon.co.uk with your shipping address and I'll send paypal invoice. Nice one, thanks. -

Thanks to everyone who ordered, all those who have paid have had their coffee roasted and dispatched today, the DHL orders will be collected tomorrow. There's still about 30kg of green left so this offer will be available for a while. Enjoy!

Got some of these piss sample vials (unused!) Which fit nicely in to an aeropress plunger. I have 10, which is way too many, so will give them away for a couple of quid/ a beer each. In Cardiff though and postage probably not worth paying. They're 47 X 107mm apparently which seems almost ideal, hold about 65g or ground coffee, seems to be a widely available dimension.

Just tucking into the beans today -- can confirm they make a great espresso! So 10/10 would recommend taking advantage of the offer if you're after some beans.

Thanks for the deal on these Steve. Do you have any tips on brewing the beans with v60? I’m getting crazy long drip times (the flow stops to almost nothing after 3 minutes) even with a super coarse grind.
I’m going to try lower agitation/a more gentle pour tomorrow but any other tips are welcome.
I’m using, 32g for 520ml of water. Hausgrind grinder and Japanese hario papers (with the tab).

How strange. I normally go with 36g/500ml but that’s not going to help. Probably try more agitation rather than less, could be som fines clogging the paper.

I just double checked my papers and the are the made in Holland version. Lots of people online saying these cause long drawdown times do that’s probably the cause of the issue .
I’ve got both Japanese and Dutch papers and looks like the boxes got mixed up. I’ll try another brew with the other papers.

My gaggia classic seems to lose ummph when it's properly warmed up. First shot of the day pulls fine, but when the machine has been in for a while, or does a few shots back to back, it struggles to get flow through the puck.
What's the most likely culprit? Solonoid? Would that be effected by temperature?
Most likely. They're poxy little things and need very regular cleans
