Gastronomic update.
Damas Gate was 'out' of felafel by the time Oliver & myself entered. We enquired and one the till people told us 'More will be coming in 15 minutes'. We waited for @hamrack to arrive, but did not see the promised delivery. The meat-free kibbe featured spinach, (or another green leaf), and pomegranate pearls. Adjacent in the serve yourself display were large domed items. I enquired and was told they were 'felafel mixture coating with a lightly spiced vegetable filling'. They were just £1 a piece and featured large yielding chunks of either squash or sweet potato within a filling filling.
If @platypus does not lead a 2nd Felafel Ride, a loosely copycatting 'Kibbe Ride' might find some takers.
