Got a kona Hahahanna frame doing nothing as am all about the on one inbreds now.
Was thinking do I rebuild it or just sell the frame on? Then it has mazzochi bomber forks so was thinking do I stick them on a on one frame or....
So build up or sell as a frame?

What is BRC? Burnaby Racing Club?
I was in BC on the Gulf Islands for the last two weeks, only in Vancouver and Richmond for two days. -

No, it was a Canadian MTB brand from the 80's-90's. I've not found much info about them online but I've just bought one and wanted to do some research. As you mentioned West Point being your local shop back in the day I thought you might know something about that brand too.

BRC, or Boyes and Rosser was out in Coquitlam. They were lower quality than Rocky. Most were made in Japan or Korea with a few from Raleigh and Carlton.
They went out of business in 1990.

Cross posting from CP and my building thread. Finished my 1997 P20 today. So happy with the result.

Thanks, @Rik_Van_Looy.
I'm terrible. I saw this one on the bay last night, made the seller an offer I thought he definitely would refuse, but he accepted it.

No probs. I believe @SideshowBob has one of these too.

mine seems to have a slight rise in the top tube and a steeper stem than the catalogue tho

That's because yours is a small one that has hardly a head tube. It's impossible to keep the top tube horizontal.

And stem angle is personal choice.

That's great, I seem to recall some of those came with a horrible Scott unicrown suspension fork, around 1993.
I bet it's crazy light.
Spindly light xc bikes with long top tubes are very much my era too so I sympathize with your habit...

Yes, those Unishocks were horrific. Aesthetically ànd functionally. I will take off the Indy forks and put a Tange Big Fork on it (needs to be sprayed in neon yellow though). And I have an XTR 900 groupset waiting in my spares. Can't wait for the frame to arrive. :)

Thanks mate.
I have a weak spot for touring with nineties mtb's myself so liking that photo of yours a lot. :)
This one is from my latest tour:

Just fitted really narrow 630’s onto the RSP 300, instead of the On-One 760’s. Feels very weird. Hopefully fits through the doorway again though.

Love the look of this.
@davidual - Great find. Are you in BC? If so, do you know anything about BRC?
