pretty much so, here in finland putin's visit today has not brought a lot of people to demonstrate but when trump was here there was tens of thousands of people on the streets.

To be fair, Putin was also there the last time Trump visited. But there were also sweet "Putin Helsinki 2018" t-shirts for sale. I regret not having bought one. They were going for a fiver in the weird souvenir shop in the tunnel between the Forum and Kamppi.

I love the twist where the trip was cancelled, meaning the Danes' importance has been relegated to being the people you might want to talk to if you are thinking of buying the far more interesting country of Greenland.
Denmark was the only Nordic country to join the US led invasion of Iraq, and two presidents later those brownie points are worth precisely fuck all.
