What is BRC? Burnaby Racing Club?
I was in BC on the Gulf Islands for the last two weeks, only in Vancouver and Richmond for two days.

No, it was a Canadian MTB brand from the 80's-90's. I've not found much info about them online but I've just bought one and wanted to do some research. As you mentioned West Point being your local shop back in the day I thought you might know something about that brand too.
