The lugs on this thing are beautiful, really enhanced by stripping off the hammerite paint it had on.

Each of the lugs has this eyelet apart the BB shell.

Such distinctive lugs I am amazed there is no idea who built it, and only a tentative estimate of sometime in the 1970s. The seat cluster is lush.

And my own work, the badass headtube. Most of the kit is vintage Campagnolo, with pista cranks and headset. The one thing I loathe is the Pistard rear wheel, I don't want it is about the wheelset but there is something just wrong about it. Keeping my eyes peeled for a replacement, and if anyone has something let me know. Both tyres also need replacing.

Lovely rat! The saddle is of course unacceptable, but otherwise great.

What is wrong with the saddle? It's a Ronin Pro with carbon rails. Once upon a time was on the road bike.

- It's white and
- has that SMP-ish nose
None of these things can be allowed to pass unchallenged.

Haha maybe but the parts bin decides. It's tilted back which may emphasise the nose but Romins are pretty sleek.

Whatever happened to roll in glitter, freeze and reinsert?
Pedals look good though ;)

Haha. But seriously two Jag stems, a Campagnolo seatpost and a couple of C-record hubs are going to get a polish. really pleased with the results, it all took half an hour or so and minimal elbow grease required.
In other news I have ordered this for the Razesa rebuild, have got a good set of parts accumulated so far.
There a chap on here selling Omega Strada Hardox aero NOS rims but he is reluctant to post so working on persuading him. Argos have said no to a track fork but have offered me a wide touring fork which was a bit of facepalm. Rychtarski have quoted 190 euros so I am going to go back to Orlowski.
Oh and I have a quote for a orange powder coat from a local firm for £48 . Slowly coming together.

Now have a matching rear hub with open pro rim. Now also polished. Noticeable when fitting it was 120mm. Should I be ok with extra mm movement in the stays on tightening the ends or fit spacers?

The vibe will be to recreate the look of my old Guerciotti, so all silver bits and white decals.

Ooohhh nice. The frame didn't come with decals at first did it?
You've got me wondering about polishing things ups just for fun now. Want to buy a full grouppo of dulled parts just for this.

Looking forward to seeing how the Razesa scrubs up. I brought that back from Mallorca!
So built up the beater. Pleasing to build a bike from the parts bin. The only new things I needed was some rim tape, the locking (bloody Miche) and a chain. The frame had been gathering dust in my bedroom.
