Caught Jay Petervary and dropped him like salsa did.
Surely this is enough to bring back rep

Skinny has been brilliant so far. His pacing is just a different level.
-

Yeah, he's closing the gap by pushing on while the rest stop, shorter sleeping pattern perhaps? His av speed looks higher overall too, on ascents particularly. Going to be interesting to see if Jakub can hold his own pace or if he's gone too hard early by lacking a bit in experience and then falls away. If it was TCR you would stick your money on skinny at this point. It's not though haha, so quite unpredictable.

What’s the instagram name?

Skinny is smashing it, I’m interested to see if Jakub’s form as an ultra runner will help him on the hike-a-bike segments.

Jamesmarkhayden I think.

Looks like he'll pass soon.

The others have been resting for a while though... Must be a rough section as he doesn't seem to have covered a lot of ground over the last hours.

He was third at the time. He’ll be leading soon by the looks of it. Man’s on a roll!

I think everyone is rooting for Lael except for a few fathers4justice types

Perhaps skinny's aiming for Checkpoint 2 before he stops? Hot meals and rest.
-
• #469
I have no idea how he does it. He's a mile smashing machine, it's not even that he's first, it's the pace he's clawed those miles away from his initial position. It's going to be really interesting after CP3 that's for sure.

I'm genuinely excited here and I don't even know Skinny! :)

I have no idea how he does it.
I think it's because he's really skinny.

Skinny's at CP2, what a monster effort
270km in 22hrs since his last stop -
• #473
He's 32km ahead of Jakub who has been stopped for 6hrs
-
• #474
Lael has passed Jay. Wonder if they exchanged pleasantries?

1000 km to go...
Nope.
